Ford recall: Over 119K cars pulled related to engine heater fire risk, NHTSA says
Ford is recalling more than 119,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to engine block heaters that can crack, leak coolant, and cause electrical short circuits that lead to fires. Regulators and the automaker advised owners to refrain from plugging in the heaters until replacement parts are installed or refunds are provided.
Another premium winter feature best enjoyed by never actually plugging it in.
