Ford Recall Tracker is not an official recall notification service. A campaign appearing on this website does not establish that your individual vehicle is affected. Likewise, failure to find a campaign here does not establish that your vehicle has no outstanding recalls.
For information concerning your specific vehicle, check your VIN using the official NHTSA recall lookup and/or Ford’s official recall service before relying on anything on this site.
Official NHTSA VIN Lookup →VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MEDIUM DUTY TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH HYDROMAX HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEMS. THE PARK BRAKE WARNING LAMP CIRCUITRY DOES NOT INCLUDE A PROVISION FOR A PARK BRAKE WARNING LAMP CHECK FUNCTION. THEREFORE, THESE VEHICLES DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 105, "HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEMS."
THE CHECK LAMP FUNCTION OF THE PARK BRAKE WARNING LAMP IS INTENDED TO ILLUMINATE THE LAMP WHEN THE IGNTION KEY IS TURNED TO THE RUN POSITION. THE PARK BRAKE WARNING LAMP CHECK FUNCTION WAS NOT INCORPORATED INTO THE MODULE WHICH CONTROLS THIS FEATURE.
