Ford Recall Tracker is not an official recall notification service. A campaign appearing on this website does not establish that your individual vehicle is affected. Likewise, failure to find a campaign here does not establish that your vehicle has no outstanding recalls.
For information concerning your specific vehicle, check your VIN using the official NHTSA recall lookup and/or Ford’s official recall service before relying on anything on this site.
Official NHTSA VIN Lookup →THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLED WITH IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED FRONT SPRING U-BOLTS USED TO SECURE THE FRONT AXLE ASSEMBLY TO THE SPRING. THE FOUR U-BOLTS MAY EXPERIENCE CRACKS AND COULD ULTIMATELY BREAK. SHOULD TWO U-BOLTS ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE VEHICLE BREAK, THE FRONT AXLE WOULD NOT BE RETAINED SECURELY.
ALL SUSPECT U-BOLTS WILL BE REPLACED BY THE DEALER, FREE OF CHARGE.
